Soon's Story
Soon was born in France. His family later moved to Hong Kong and he would then move to Switerland to pursue a cooking career. However, when he found it wasn't for him, he moved back to Hong Kong where he discovered Jiu Jitsu.

When he was first learning Jiu Jitsu, he was immediately drawn to the pursuit of perfecting technique. Driven to learn the most effective and effiicient movements that could be drawn for each specific scenario.
​
Early in his journey, he met Margot Cicarelli, who shared a similar perspective and was cutting out the pathway of living nomadically, not allowing geography to get in the way of accelerated learning. It was from there that Soon would follow in Margot's footsteps and travel the world to learn directly from some of the best Jiu Jitsu coaches in the world.
​
In the following years, Soon would work hard coaching in gyms in Hong Kong such as Kowloon Jiu Jitsu, and tto save money to fund trips to the US, where he would spend time training with legends of the sport such as Murilo Santana in Unity (New York), Gui and Rafa Mendes in Art of Jiu Jitsu (San Diego) and from the B-Team crew in Texas.
