Ronnie

Eerily coincidental to Fabio, Ronnie first stumbled into Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gym in 2013 -initially thinking that it was the kind of wrestling he'd seen in WWE. That silly misunderstanding quickly turned into a life changing discovery. Ronnie saw himself drawn into the world of BJJ, captivated by its depth of knowledge, strategy and the sense of community on the mats.

His passion for the art grew rapidly. Ronnie dedicated countless hours to training, eager to absorb every technique and lesson possible. Early in his journey, he tested himself in competitions, stepping up at the White and Blue Belt levels. A highlight came when he won the Copa de Hong Kong in the -76kg Blue Belt division, an achievement that fueled his drive and commitment to the sport.

Over time, Ronnie's love for BJJ evolved into a passion for teaching. He began coaching at respected gyms in both Hong Kong and Thailand. Known for his approachable style and technical insight, Ronnie received his Brown Belt in December 2021.

Whether it's working with beginners or advanced practitioners, he creates an environment that encourages fun learning, growth and mutual respect. Today he is recognized not only for his abilities on the mats, but also for his commitment to building up the next generation of martial artists in Hong Kong.
