Meet the Coaches

Head Coach
Fabio Lim
Fabio's spent most of his adult life training and coaching Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
He first started in Melbourne, Australia.. Competing and training out of multiple gyms, until moving to Hong Kong in 2019. From there he began pursuing BJJ full time, freelance coaching in gyms such as Kowloon Jiu Jitsu and Gracie Barra Wan Chai.
During COVID, with the closure of a gym Fabio was working at, Tempo Jiu Jitsu was born.

Liam Sheridan
Liam likes to lift heavy things.
He heads the Adult Beginners and Kids program at Tempo. Adults love him because he has great technique. Kids love him because he has all the time for them.
When he's not training or coaching at Tempo, he's coaching others to help them achieve their Strength and Conditioning goals.

Soon Lee
Soon lives the nomadic Jiu Jitsu journey at this time. He's spent the last 6 years of his life dedicated to learning and mastering Jiu Jitsu around the world.

4 years ago, he met Margot Caccerilli and he learnt what it looks like to dedicate ones life to the pursuit of greatness.
Soon now trains full time, and travels the world competing and learning from some of the best in the world.
​
He coaches classes throughout the week. Come join his classes as you're sure to learn a different technique.

Que Dang
Que loves food.
​
Que comes from background of running restaurants and leading teams in kitchens.
Que also loves Jiu Jitsu.
​
He particularly loves strangling people.
Morning classes are his jam and you can often find Que on the mats well after class has finished, explaining and helping students.

Kids Jiu Jitsu Coach
Nathan Sanchez
Nathan was born in Hong Kong. During high school, he moved to Sydney for some of his studies and it was in Sydney he discovered Jiu Jitsu.
He soon after came back to Hong Kong, where he decided to needed to continue training. That's when he first found Tempo Jiu Jitsu.

Since then, he's been consistently training under the guidance of Fabio.
​
Nathan now assists with coaching the kids program at Tempo, while on the look out for future competitions.

Hubert Ling
Hubert's among some of the first generation of local Hong Kong Black Belts.
​
Although he stopped competing, this hasn't slowed down his learning.
When he isn't working, or busy being a dad, he's watching instructionals.

Ronnie Ng
Ronnie began training Jiu Jitsu at the age of 15, in Hong Kong., starting off in the kids program at GSF.
​
Similar to Fabio, he also fell into the sport thinking that he was going to a WWE class.
As a kid training Jiu Jitsu, he slowly found that as he got better at the sport, he was building confidence and passion for development.
​
Now as a Brown Belt, he thrives in being a part of a supportive community, and finds great pleasure in bringing up others around him.
